Exhibitor interest continues to increase as 2016 show nears

3D Printing Asia Zone see strong support and anticipation from industry players

Asiamold – Guangzhou International Mould & Die Exhibition will open its doors from 20 – 22 September 2016 at the China Import and Export Fair Complex in Guangzhou. Over 360 exhibitors are expected to utilise over 25,000 sqm of exhibition grounds to showcase their most in-demand mould making, die casting, metal working and 3D printing technologies for manufacturing industries worldwide. Furthermore, the three-day fair is estimated to welcome more than 20,000 professional visitors, ranging from manufacturers and product suppliers to distributors and end-users, from around the globe.

Asiamold continues to be the ideal business platform for the mould and die industry. For the past couple of years, thematic zones have become a key component to the show’s success, helping top buyers in the manufacturing industry with their sourcing needs. The Die Casting and Forge Zone continues to be an important focus at the fair and a number of new and returning exhibitors have confirmed their participation. Some of the renowned brands include Dongguan Wang Zhe Hardware Products, Dongguan Zhesheng Machinery, Guangzhou CTA Equipment, Guangdong MEITE Mechanical, Harvey Cutting Tools and many others. Additive manufacturing and 3D printing technologies will again be a key highlight at Asiamold. With continuously growing demand for higher precision machines, tighter R&D budgets and shorter lead times, the value of 3D printing technologies has never been greater. To cater demands generated by the constantly evolving manufacturing industry, the 3D Printing Asia Zone will offer a spectrum of the latest technologies and solutions from international and domestic suppliers.

For 2016, the fair organiser has once again partnered with the Guangzhou Additive Manufacturing Technology Industry Association to gather China’s prominent 3D Printing equipment manufacturers and suppliers. Moreover, due to positive results from the previous fair edition, member companies from the association will return in 2016 with even larger spaces. Some of the association’s renowned members to participate include Anhui Chungu 3D Printing Technology Research Institute of Intelligent Equipment Industry, Guangzhou Wangneng Product Design, Guangzhou YMe Advance Material Technology, Shenzhen ESUN Display and many others.

Asiamold is organised by Guangzhou Guangya Messe Frankfurt. The fair is part of a series of international events including formnext and Intermold Japan. The next edition of formnext will be held from 15 – 18 November 2016 at the Frankfurt exhibition grounds in Germany. Intermold Japan will take place from 12 – 15 April 2017 in Toyko.

‘Furniture Manufacturing & Supply China 2016’ (FMC China 2016) will be moved back to the Shanghai New International Expo Centre from Sept. 8th to 11th, 2016. After several-year separation from Furniture China, this reunion will cover all the whole upstream and downstream industry of furniture.

The event focus on popularizing new fabrics, new techniques, and new products, increase quality and design so as to create artistic, cozy and avant-garde sofa. Water-borne Coating Forum: Combination of online and offline
On the noon of 3rd, Dec. 2015, the 1st we-chat forum was successfully held by FMC and WBCP (Water-Borne Coating Platform). Rely on we-chat group, over 40 coating companies and nearly 60 furniture-manufacturing companies joined this online forum. Actually, FMC has been cooperating with WBCP for 3 times to hold the 3rd Chinese Furniture Water-Borne Forum. Combining online with offline create the bright future of green furniture in China.

In the face of ‘New Normal’ Economy, with China Furniture Association, FMC China 2016 will launch the 2nd Furniture Manufacturing Campaign ‘Replacing Labor with Machine’, linking the upstream machinery manufacturing companies and the downstream furniture corporations to explore the revolution of techniques. The 1st DIY Woodworking Exhibition became a hot spot on the show. People concentrate more and more on nostalgic handicraft and customized need. It is believed that the 2nd DIY Woodworking Exhibition will bring new fervor to the show.
