China High Tech Fair is China’s No.1 Technology Show
Each year, CHTF is co-hosted in Shenzhen by Ministries and Commissions of the national government and Shenzhen Municipal People’s Government. Up to now, 16 CHTFs have been successfully held in succession. For each CHTF, the total exhibition area exceeded 100,000㎡, nearly 3,000 exhibitors from more than 50 countries and over 500,000 visitors attended. Currently, it is the largest and the most influential scientific and technological fair in China and is renowned as “the No.1 Technology Show in China”.
CHTF integrates transaction of achievements, exhibition of products, high-level forum, merchant attraction of projects and cooperation & exchange and focuses on the advanced technologies and products in such fields as energy conservation, environment protection, new generation of information technologies, biology, manufacture of high-end equipment, new energies, new materials and new energy vehicles etc. After years of development, CHTF has become an important window for the opening outside in the China’s high-tech sectors and has played a more important role in commercialization, industrialization and internationalization of high-tech achievements as well as promotion of economic and technological exchanges and cooperation between different countries and regions.
CHTF 2015 will be held in Shenzhen in November 16-21, with the theme of “innovative entrepreneurship, cross-border integration”. It is aimed to attract innovative resources, promote mass entrepreneurship and innovation, push for cross border integration, and facilitate international exchanges and cooperation in science and technology. CHTF 2015 will focus on next generation IT, energy conservation and environment protection, electronics, biology, high-end equipment manufacturing, new energy, smart cites, etc. There will be dedicated exhibition areas for national hi-tech projects, Chinese provinces and municipalities, universities and institutes, foreign delegations, as well as the IT Exhibition, the Energy Conservation and Environment Protection Exhibition, New Energy Exhibition, Electronics Exhibition, Smart Cities Exhibition, Optoelectronics Exhibition, Startup and Investment Zone, etc. There will also be a series of events including the China Hi-Tech Forum, professional tech seminars, fundraising and project pairing for tech startups, negotiations for buyers, makers’ seminars, roadshows, debuts, etc. The total area of exhibition is estimated to exceed 110,000 m2, with more than 500 thousand visitors.
Review of CHTF 2014:
At CHTF 2014, the total exhibition area reached 115,000㎡. There were 3,016 exhibitors and 3,593 projects, which covered fields of energy conversation, environment protection, new generation of information technologies, biology, manufacture of high-end equipment, new energy, new materials and new energy vehicles, etc. 546,000 visitors from 123 delegations and 83 countries and regions participated in the fair. Among them, there were 3,628 investors, and the overall popularity index reached 235, i.e. an average of 235 professional visitors visited each booth per day. About 1,500 journalists from nearly 200 domestic and overseas reported the grand fair.
